![]() ![]() The Leica R mount adapter gains me access to a pair of long telephoto lenses already in my collection, a 250mm and a 400mm. ![]() In use, however, I find they're a salad bar of compromises that, if you've selected intentionally, may be ones you can live with.įor my own purposes, the conclusion I've arrived at is that such adapters are most useful either for focal lengths outside of those represented in one's collection of native glass or to gain access to special functions, such as tilt or shift.Īs wonderful as the Zeiss lenses for Hasselblad are, for example, the Fujinon GF lenses I've manged to gather so far, the 63mm prime, the 32-64 zoom, and the 100-200 zoom, are a pure joy to use with the GFX, and produce superb results. ![]() Thus far, I've purchased three adapters, all by Kippon, converting from the Hasselblad V mount, the Mamiya RB mount, and the Leica R mount.Īll fit well and seem well made. I've gone back and forth on the question of adapting lenses to the GFX. ![]()
